On October 29th, we participated in the high school's "Halloween Room" program. Hosting our own halloween room allows us to promote the technology programs our school offers to future students of the high school. We were not the only ones hosting a room however: multiple groups of our student body each hosted their own Halloween room, and we invited the public to come and check out all of the rooms our school has to offer.
We, of course, wanted our room to stand out. To be different. So we made a drastic decision: to make our room holiday themed. We changed up the usual monsters and ghouls and replaced them with raindeer. We even replaced the infamous Grim Reaper and put Santa Claus in his place.
Our Clothing Drive is coming to a close and it was very successful. Several dozen articles of clothing have been donated and they will be presented as soon as a date can be established with the Caring Closet. More details to follow.
Tigard High School has an extensive Information Technology department, which has succeeded in awarding sixty-six professional certifications to students at the school, which qualifies them to work in many high-paying positions before they have even graduated from high school.
